About Us
Full Time Rv Living
We’ve been living full-time in our Grand Design Solitude 382 fifth wheel since August 2021.
Embracing this lifestyle has allowed us to explore new places, chase different horizons, and make a home wherever we go. Our RV gives us the comfort and freedom to blend work, adventure, and everyday life seamlessly. Living on the road has taught us to appreciate simplicity, adapt to new environments, and cherish every unique experience that comes our way.
What We Do For Work
We began our journey as work campers, enjoying the chance to explore new places while working on the road. Our first work camping job was in Fort Pierce, FL, followed by two more in Yemassee, SC.
Kristel embraced the role as a solo work camper from start to finish, while Jason joined at both locations, though his time was shorter. These early experiences helped us find our rhythm in balancing work and travel.
During this time, Jason found his passion in becoming a mobile RV technician. This led us to start a new business focused on helping fellow travelers and RV enthusiasts keep their rigs in top shape.
Today, we’re proud to run our business, Hitch Itch Mobile RV Tech, full-time while continuing to live and travel in our RV. This lifestyle allows us to connect with the RV community and support their adventures, just as we do with ours.
Where We Are Now
Currently, we’re settled in the Lowcountry area, covering both South Carolina and Georgia, where we’ve planted some roots with our business, Hitch Itch Mobile RV Tech.
After Jason became a certified RV technician at NRVTA, we launched Hitch Itch with a focus on serving RV owners in the region with professional, reliable mobile RV repair and maintenance.
While we’re committed to staying in this beautiful area for a few years, our love for travel hasn’t faded. We still hit the road regularly, exploring new places and making memories as we go.
